Identifying Your Device
Identifying Your Device
1. The first step in identifying your device is to determine the manufacturer of the device. This should be labeled prominently on your device. Some examples of manufactures are: Apple, Motorola, Samsung, Sanyo, etc.
2. Once you have identified your device’s manufacturer, the next step is finding your device’s model number. This is especially important to find on a cell phone because there are so many different models available. You can usually find your phone’s model number by turning the phone off and removeing its battery. The model number will be located on the phone underneath the battery.
If you still cannot find your phone’s model number, please refer to its owner’s manual or retail packaging.
For other devices, the model number usually be located on the back of the device or in the owner’s manual.
I've identified my device, take me to the DEVICES page!
